<p>Painting in high-humidity environments can create multiple<br>issues, including increasing drying time by introducing more<br>moisture into the paint<br>Humid conditions also hurt the adhesion of paint to wood<br>surfaces because the moisture can be absorbed into the<br>wood causing bubbling or peeling.<br>In some cases humidity can cause surfactant leaching, which<br>results in a white or brown discoloration on the paint&#8217;s surface.<br>When high humidity is combined with low temperatures,<br>condensation can occur on the naint&#8217;s surface which creates<br>more difficulties in terms of the paint&#8217;s drying and adhesion,<br>compromising its protective qualities.</p>
